The white truffles we use are from Alba, Italy. The most recent price for frest white truffles are $2,200 dollars per pound. Common uses include; mash Photatos, mixed into pasta, sprinkled over vegetables, blended into cream soups, and sauces. Never use as a saute oil. Once truffle oil hits the smoking point of 250 degrees the truffle flavor will burn out. Always use truffle oil as a finishing oil. Keep the lid on in a dark cool cupboard. Your truffle will last one year after opening.
